Just wanted you to know that thanks to your 2 therapeutic yoga classes per week at Soul At Home, I have been pain free now for about one year.

My sciatica was very debilitating one to two years ago and after 4 months of physical therapy and your classes along with Matt Spencer’s “Healthy Back class” on Mondays have kept me functioning normal I am sure.

Hi Helena

Yoga has changed my life in ways I didn’t think were possible. I started 5 months ago in a class thinking that “I can’t do this,” to now where those thoughts don’t even enter my mind. Yes, I have limitations with my arthritis, but I am stronger now, have more energy and have a better outlook on my health, life and inner core. I am a high strung person and the breathing exercises have calmed me in my daily life and I actually sleep more soundly at night. In this life, I need my family, friends, faith, art and Yoga!

I have been practicing yoga for over 15 years. I would not be walking if it were not for yoga. I have osteo arthritis in my joints and have had a knee replacement within the last 2 years. My doctors told me my body was in such good shape and I recorded quickly because of my yoga practice.

I am facing a hip replacement and yoga is my one relief…the stretching and breathing and relaxing are so beneficial. When you are in pain and are able to breath and relax your body – that is a gift….Helena, thank you.
